Reginald and Iris Bellamy
Reginald and Iris have been married for 25 years. They are the parents of four children and six grandchildren. Iris was ordained in 1996, and Reginald was ordained in 2002 by the United Church of Jesus Christ (Apostolic). Iris serves as Sunday School Teacher and the Prayer Ministry Director for Daybreak Christian Assembly.
Reginald trained as a Nouthetic Counselor through the GLADD program (God’s Law against Drunkenness and Drugs) under the leadership of the late Bishop Isaiah Hill. He has AA, BA, and master’s degrees in criminal justice from the University of Phoenix (2010, 2012, and 2014).
Iris received a BA degree in chemistry (art minor) from Hood College in 1978. She received a Master of Divinity (MDiv) degree (in Old Testament Studies and church administration) in 1996 from Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, DC.
Reginald has been employed as the Administrative Chaplain at the Maryland Correctional Institution-Jessup, part of the Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services in Maryland, since November 1999.
Iris operates a financial services education ministry. She leads a crusade against financial illiteracy and helps families earn more income, become adequately protected, debt-free, and financially independent.
