Reginald and Iris Bellamy

Reginald and Iris have been married for fifteen years. They are the parents of four children and two grand-children.  Both were baptized in Jesus Name by Bishop Monroe Saunders, Jr. at First United Church of Jesus Christ (Apostolic) (now known as Transformation Church of Jesus Christ) in Baltimore, MD. Iris was ordained in 1996 and Reginald was ordained in 2002 by the United Church of Jesus Christ (Apostolic).  Iris serves as the Prayer Ministry Director for Daybreak Christian Assembly.

Reginald was trained as a Nouthetic Counselor through the GLADD program (God’s Law against Drunkenness and Drugs) under the leadership of the late Bishop Isaiah Hill. He has AA, BA, and Master degrees in Criminal Justice from University of Phoenix (2010, 2012, and 2014). 

Iris received a BA degree in chemistry (art minor) from Hood College in 1978. She received a Master of Divinity (MDiv) degree (in Old Testament Studies and church administration) in 1996 from Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, DC. She has served in various ministry capacities: Sunday school teacher, Sunday School Superintendent, pastoral assistant, ministry leadership teacher, ministry overseer, children’s ministry teacher, and children’s ministry leader.

Reginald is employed as the Administrative Chaplain at the Maryland Correctional Institution-Jessup, part of the Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services in the State of Maryland.

Iris is employed as Administrative Coordinator and Fellowship Program Coordinator in the division of Pediatric Radiology at Johns Hopkins University, School of Medicine, Baltimore, Maryland.

Reginald is also President and CEO of Death to Life Ministries.

Iris is also the office manager and licensed representative for a financial services agency with her father, located in Pikesville, Maryland.
